WHY SENSORY PLAY?
I'm Salena, your sensory play storyteller and children's educator making learning fun and memorable. Sensory play is a hands-on tool enabling children to learn about the world around them by using their senses. It may calm and engage a child & it also aids in focusing.
Sensory play stimulates the brain's nerve connections which leads to a child's ability to complete more complex learning tasks. Sensory play also supports cognitive growth, gross motor skills, eye-hand coordination, language development, problem-solving, and social interactions.

HOW TO MAKE A SENSORY BIN
A sensory bin can be made using a variety of texture fillers and colors. The container should be large enough to allow your child to explore without removing the filler.
